Instructions for Teachers parents/ facilitators:

1. Look at the practice / solved activity.

2. Ask the learners to answer the practice activity orally as well as ask them to write it in

the form of short sentences in the Activity sheet

3. Ask them to prepare their own activity

Instructions for Students

1. Look at the word given in the centre and try to answer the related words orally with the

main word.

2. Try to write your own short sentences. Also use a dictionary to find out new words.

• Learning Activity

‘A Concept Map’

A concept map is a diagram or graphical tool that usually represents the relationship between

concepts and ideas. A teacher/facilitator will write a concept on a blackboard / screen in

square/circle and ask them to tell some words (ideas) related to concept. The students will try

to answer orally if they are familiar with the concept.

एक संकल्पना नकाशा’

संकल्पना नकाशा एक आकृती किंवा ग्राफिकल साधन आहे जे सहसा दरम्यानचे संबंध दर्शवते

 संकल्पना आणि कल्पना.  एक शिक्षक / फॅसिलिडेटर ब्लॅकबोर्ड / स्क्रीन इन मधील संकल्पना लिहितील

चौरस / मंडळ आणि संकल्पनेशी संबंधित काही शब्द (कल्पना) सांगायला सांगा.  विद्यार्थी प्रयत्न करतील

त्यांना संकल्पनेची परिचित असल्यास तोंडी उत्तर देणे.)

For Example : 

A concept map is a visual organization and representation of knowledge.

(संकल्पना नकाशा ही एक दृश्य संस्था आणि ज्ञानाचे प्रतिनिधित्व आहे.)

Solved / Demo Activity

A concept is written in the middle and you all are going to find out the related words to that

concept/main word. You also have to form small sentences.

• Activity 3 : Concept – School

Ideas : benches, uniform, games, teachers, headmaster, book, notebook, bell,

कल्पनाः बेंच, गणवेश, खेळ, शिक्षक, मुख्याध्यापक, पुस्तक, नोटबुक, बेल,

विद्यार्थ्यांना आणखी शब्द जोडायला सांगा)

• Practice:-

A list is given below regarding the concept – Face.

Some words are related and some are not. Guess the proper related words and write them

down.

(Stomach, mouth, shoulder, nose, chin, heart, wrist, toe, lip, teeth, cheek, eyelash, eyebrow,

etc.)

चेहरा - संकल्पना या संदर्भात एक यादी खाली दिली आहे.

काही शब्द संबंधित आहेत आणि काही नाहीत.  योग्य संबंधित शब्दांचा अंदाज घ्या आणि ते लिहा

• Extension Activity

Use various concepts regarding their day-to-day life. Ask them to collect much more

ideas regarding the concept and ideas. Practice it once a week. You can arrange a game

for this activity.

Ask them to read all the words orally. Also ask them to create their own small
